What's next? Life after......

I just signed up to sing with Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees Fame.  That's right on April 26th at Roosters I will be singing with Mickey Dolenz.  I don't know if I get to pick the song or he picks it for me.  There are some songs I do better than others.  And I hope that I can get someone to tape it for me.

      Woman suck.  Not that I'm into men, but a woman likes to play games. I think it is in their DNA.  They try to get what they can from men and then drop you off sharply once they get what they want. We what I want is a woman that wants me, and not for sex but for companionship. I want a woman who can converse who can talk who can have a heart-to-heart with.       Where I am right now, there are 1.8 single women for every single man in my age group.  My age group is from 55 to 65.  I think that is a reasonable group.  I'm 60 so I figure 5 below, 5 above. I'm in a 55+ RV Park right now.  You would think that 2 out of 3 women would be single.  This is not the case. At least not what I've found. It could be that all the single women are staying inside. Or that they just don't want to interact with men. There were two women that I was two women that I was conversing with. Girl "A" was 40 years old. ...

I left South Dakota because the weather was getting too cold. I went straight south to Alvarado, TX. The first thing I noticed was that the temperature in SD was 50 degrees and the temperature in TX was 42 degrees.  Warmer weather was not in the cards for me. I want to talk about friendship and what it means to me and what it should mean to you. Friendship to me is supporting one another.  Being there for each other and doing for each other. Friendship is where I do something for you for no reason whatsoever. This woman that I visited in Alvarado Texas I thought was a friend. When I first arrived there she was being cooped up in her class C motorhome. I took her out to dinner. I took her out shopping. Since her refrigerator and microwave were not working I made her several things to eat that didn't have to be refrigerated or cooked. I made her lamb stew. I made her turkey jerky. I cooked her hard-boiled eggs. What did she do for me in return? Nothing. Si...

So my thought is that I will do some traveling.  Would be nice if I had someone to travel with, but I don't so maybe I'll find someone on the way. I've settled on a travel trailer and an F-150 pickup truck.  Still looking at Travel trailer models, but I've seen some that I like already.  It's only me (and maybe one other), so I don't need big. Worse than that I was physically abused by my father and mentally abused by my mother. Let's start with the physical abuse. First of all, don't buy the internet package. ANY internet package. I bought the biggest and best, and I couldn't get on most of the time. Doing my blog it will be important to remember this. Second of all. Speak out. If you never speak up you will never get heard. The cruise needed help. They needed somebody in charge. I like karaoke. I really think it's a good way for people to talk and meet and enjoy each other. So on day one when they offered karaoke, I went. I went up to the girl who was running the show and try to put my name on the list. She told me that the list was full for the night. I had only arrived 10 min. late. If it was so popular they should have extended it so that more people get up and enjoy it. they should have done half a billion other things other than to tell people it was closed out.
